This division is responsible for the prompt processing, recording, and reconciling of all the State’s receipts and disbursements. Process accurate and timely transactions on behalf of state agencies and other organizations; Provide for the evolving transactional needs of the State; and, Create a seamless transactional experience across central agencies for payees and payers.
Collections & Disbursements:
The Collections Unit processes, records and reconciles state receipts collected at various financial institutions, including taxes and other revenues. The Unit also accounts for and reconciles all transactions in the State’s investment and debt accounts.
The Disbursements Unit oversees and effects the State’s recurring payments, including vendor, payroll and pension. Additionally, the Unit manages all refund requests for taxes, abandoned property and reconciles welfare payments.
