AARP Issues & Answers Series: Financial Tools You Can Use! Set For May

Join AARP Delaware and the Delaware Money School as we introduce the "Financial Tools You Can Use" in Delaware State Treasurer Jack Markell's new Consumer Tool Chest at our upcoming FREE AARP Issues & Answers Series!

If you're thinking about retiring soon, we can help you create a retirement strategy. Already retired? You can learn about how to really manage your retirement income. We'll have sessions about how to shore up your cash flow with a reverse mortgage. See how you can prevent "homeplace" injuries (and financial challenges) with a few simple safety checks around your house. And, learn how you can avoid costly hospital billing errors! So, be prepared to add some new financial security tools to your tool chest!

State Treasurer Jack Markell will join AARP national issue expert Ridge Multop along with local Delaware Money School financial experts from Edward Jones, Wells Fargo Home Mortgage and AIG Bank. The Issues & Answers series will provide consumers with information and resources available to assist with financial decisions they will need to make to be able to retire, or maintain a livable income during retirement.

AARP Logo The sessions are on Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at Dover Downs; Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at the Atlantic Sands in Rehoboth Beach and Thursday, May 18, 2006 at the Chase Center on the Riverfront in Wilmington. All FREE sessions begin at 8:30 a.m. with a full breakfast and end about noon.

The AARP's Issues & Answers Series - Financial Tools You Can Use provides an opportunity to learn first-hand the importance of retirement planning. These events bring together national and statewide organizations that have developed effective strategies that can help those in retirement or nearing retirement who have concerns about their long term financial security.
